How to Play DROP Chess

• Win by checkmate before the 25-move limit. If move 25 ends, the game is a draw.
• On each turn, either move one piece or drop one reserve piece onto a green square.
• Only Kings, Rooks, Bishops, and Knights are used. No pawns or queens.
• You cannot place two bishops on the same color squares.
• If you check, your next turn cannot be a check unless every legal move is a check. Discovered checks are allowed.
