How to play
Paint the footprint

A piece's ambit is every square it attacks. Place pieces so their ambits together cover the GOLD squares exactly — nothing more, nothing less.

Pick a piece from the rack under the board.

Tap any empty square to place it — square colour doesn't matter, and pieces never block each other.

Check paints your combined ambit GREEN. You win the moment green covers gold exactly.

Spillover = a life

If a piece attacks any square outside the gold, it flashes RED and you lose one of 3 lives. UNDO takes back a piece, not a lost life.

Endless puzzles

  • Solve with no UNDO → 🥇 Gold
  • 1 UNDO → 🥈 Silver
  • 2 or more → 🥉 Bronze

Pro tips

  • Start with corners and lonely squares — they limit which piece can reach them.
  • Knights cover awkward L-shapes; bishops paint long diagonals; the queen spills easily.
